Perspective City
This is my perspective city project I did in Illustrator. For this I had to used the perspective grid tool for my buildings. This helped me be able to determine how wide and tall I wanted to make my buildings. This also made it easy to proposition my buildings the way I like it and on the page. After doing all the buildings I made windows with the basic shape tool. Some windows are different from the other, I used the rectangle, square, star, and circle tool to make the window. After doing the windows, buildings, and doors it was time for me to pick the store logos I wanted. The stores I picked are ones I enjoy going to a lot, I also put one cheer gym since I enjoy cheer also. To copy the logos and have them fit on my stores I had to live trace each logo to make sure it would fit on my stores and still be clear enough to be able to read. At some points it was hard but I enjoyed live tracing the logos. After that I filled my buildings with gradients and patterns that would best fit the store. I had fun picking the colors I like and think that would go well for the store. Another new cool thing we used was the 3D revolve effect, this was the hardest to use because I could only do half the shape and hope it would turn out the object shape I want. For those I made lights and a table. My people walking dogs are dingbats I found and downloaded. I liked doing this project it let me show off more things I like.
